Designed for Every Golfer
Originally designed in 1945 by Perc LeDuc, Argyle’s course features rolling hills that define many of its holes. A recent renovation has enhanced its challenge for top golfers, improved overall playability, and ensured long-term sustainability—making it one of the premier places to play in Maryland.
Course Renovation Highlights:
- Redesigned green to tee complexes, removing cart paths in many areas, to make the course flow better.
- Converted to Ironcutter Bermuda grass, making Argyle one of the northernmost Bermuda courses in the U.S., to reduce water and chemical consumption
- All new Billy Bunkers throughout with strategically placed fairway and greenside bunkers.
- Added cart paths in low-lying areas to make the course more accessible when it rains.
- New back and forward tees added on many holes for the enjoyment of golfers of all levels.
- Green drainage to preserve playability year round regardless of the weather
